Job summary

Loom Talent is seeking a part-time HR Advisor to support a fast-paced blue-collar client based near Leicester. The role blends on-site operational HR support with ad hoc regional travel, working 24 hours across three days with one day from home.

You will manage employee relations cases, coach managers on best practice, and act as the sole on-site HR contact, ensuring policies stay up to date with legislation changes. CIPD qualification is preferred or in progress.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor focusing on employee relations.
• Willing to commute to Leicester and travel regionally.
• Experience in busy blue-collar environments desirable.
• CIPD qualification or working towards certificate.

Part time + Hybrid working (1 day from home)

Loom Talent are currently partnering with a fast-paced blue-collar organisation with head offices in Leicester. This role will sit are part of a team supporting the company depots for one of their busy business units.

This role is a great mix of onsite operational support with the opportunity to travel on an ad hoc basis to support sites regionally.

This is a part time position, working 24 hours a week over 3 days with one day working from home.

The Role

• Manage and advise on ER cases having the confidence to coach managers on best practise and influence accordingly.
• Build strong relationships with managers to understand their specific HR needs and provide practical, commercially focused HR advice.
• Be the sole point of contact on site from a HR perspective, and comfortable answering queries.
• Be proactive and ensure policies and procedures are up to date and fit for purpose, especially with the recent legislation changes.
• Management of day-to-day HR activities supporting on key projects and initiatives across the full employee lifecycle.
• Managing and supporting casework, offering proactive and solution-focused guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
• Travel to sites across the north supporting when needed

What we are looking for

• Previous experience operating at HR Advisor level with a focus on employee relations.
• Ability to commute to Leicester and travel on an ad hoc basis to sites when needed
• Experience working in a busy, fast paced blue-collar organisation
• CIPD qualified, or working towards your certificate.
