Job summary

The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) is seeking an HR Adviser (part time 0.5FTE) to join the HR Division. The role is on a fixed-term contract for 12 months with a hybrid working pattern, mainly Monday and Tuesday full days and a Wednesday half-day.

Salary ranges from £36,513 to £41,565 per year, with potential progression to £44,468. Reporting into an HR Partner, you will provide guidance on employee relations to allocated departments, respond to information requests, and

Qualifications

• Experience advising on employee relations and providing guidance to managers.
• Strong knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume information requests and respond accurately.
• Experience with HR information systems and recruitment platforms is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, guidance and support on employee relations to allocated departments.
• Respond to high-volume information requests and queries with accurate responses.
• Develop relationships with staff at all levels and support policy implementation.
• Contribute to HR projects and participate in working groups to improve services.
