Job summary

Belleaire Care Home in Greenock is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain high cleaning standards in public areas and bedrooms. You will also wash, dry, iron and store laundry, contributing to a clean, welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.

Experience in housekeeping is preferred; full training will be provided for new staff. The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and good teamwork in a caring setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or domestic cleaning is preferred.
• Basic understanding of infection control, COSHH and compliance standards; full training provided if new to the role.
• Ability to replenish and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
• Good communication with residents and colleagues to address needs and concerns.
