Hallmark Luxury Care Homes in Merthyr Tydfil is hiring a part-time Housekeeping Assistant to join our caring team. 25 hours per week, with shifts starting at 8:00am and flexible school-friendly hours (8:00am to 2:30pm).

The role includes working alternate weekends and a focus on delivering a clean, homely environment for residents. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will follow a cleaning schedule, ensure safety practices, and maintain infection control documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic environments and familiarity with Health & Safety practices is desirable.
• Ability to deliver high-quality cleaning and maintain a welcoming environment for residents.
• Commitment to ethical conduct and resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedule diligently to ensure every area is spotless.
• Report defects or damage to furnishings promptly to maintain a pristine environment.
• Adhere to infection control policies and document cleaning activities.
• Support health and safety requirements and attend training to stay up-to-date.
