Part-Time Hotel Receptionist (24 Hours per Week)

Location: In the heart of the beautiful New Forest

Shifts: 3 per week (Flexible availability required)

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Receptionist with previous hotel experience to join our front-of-house team. Based in the heart of the stunning New Forest, this is a great opportunity to work in a scenic and welcoming environment. You will work 24 hours per week across 3 shifts, and must be flexible with working days and times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs
  • Answering and directing telephone calls professionally
  • Allocating rooms and processing bookings
  • Liaising with housekeeping and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Maintaining accurate records and following internal processes

Requirements:

  • Must have own transport (due to location and shift patterns)
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Process-driven with excellent attention to detail
  • A confident communicator who can remain calm under pressure
  • Previous experience with hotel booking systems (Rezlynx preferred, but training can be provided)
  • Previous hospitality experience is essential
