BCUHB North Wales is recruiting Domestic Assistants to join the Enhanced Clean Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital. The post is permanent, part-time (17.5 hours per week) on a rota including weekends, with full on-the-job training and uniform provided.

Your duties include maintaining high standards of cleanliness for floors and furniture, assisting with non-cleaning tasks, operating cleaning equipment, replenishing supplies, and documenting completed work.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the cleaning industry beneficial but not essential.
• On the job training and supervision provided.
• Uniform and protective clothing supplied.

Responsabilités

• Maintain standards of cleanliness of floors, furniture and fittings.
• Carry out non-cleaning tasks such as washing crockery and making beds with clean linen.
• Operate cleaning equipment to achieve required cleanliness.
• Handle refuse for disposal.
• Replenish supplies of paper towels, toilet tissue, soap and moisturiser.
• Monitor stocks of cleaning materials and request supplies as needed.
• Organise day-to-day workload within scheduling guidelines.
• Complete documentation of full cleans.
• Communicate with Domestic Supervisors, patients, visitors and staff.
• Ensure compliance with Health Board policies.
• Welsh language ability is desirable; Welsh/English speakers welcome.
