Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) is seeking a Domestic Assistant to support cleaning across wards, departments and public areas at Ysbyty Bryn Y Neiuadd/Ty Llwelyn MSU. The role is part-time with a 25-hour week and a 13:00–18:00 rota, requiring good teamwork and the ability to prioritise tasks.

A Welsh language ability is desirable; applications may be submitted in Welsh or English. An induction with on-the-job training covers cleaning procedures and safety.

Qualifications

• Able to organise and prioritise workload.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Welsh and/or English speakers are welcome; Welsh language ability is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning and related duties within wards, departments and public and staff areas.
• Induction period with on the job training covering cleaning procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH.
