Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (BCUHB) invitations for Domestic Assistants at Wrexham Maelor Hospital and annex buildings. Roles involve cleaning to defined standards with on-the-job training and uniform provided. Permanent contracts exist with a part-time post (35 hours/week, 7am–2:30pm, 5 days per week on a rota including weekends).

Competenze

• Previous experience of working within the cleaning industry will be beneficial but it is not essential
• On the job training and supervision provided

Mansioni

• Maintain standards of cleanliness of floors, furniture and fittings and remove marks from walls/doors within set methods and frequencies
• Carry out non-cleaning tasks such as washing patient crockery and making beds with clean linen
• Operate cleaning equipment to achieve specified cleanliness levels
• Handle refuse for disposal purposes
• Replenish supplies of towels, toilet tissue, soap and moisturiser as required
• Monitor stock of cleaning materials and request supplies as needed
• Organise day-to-day workload to complete tasks to standard
• Complete documentation recording full cleans
• Demonstrate understanding of cleaning methods and frequencies
• Communicate with Supervisors, patients, visitors and staff to achieve standards
• Ensure compliance with policies and good practices
