Job summary

• Putting orders away
• Opening up the kitchen for the day
• Completing HAACP documentation
• Making soups, quiches, daily specials
• Baking cakes and preparing sandwich fillings
• Preparing the salad bar for service
• Attending the inpatient unit to discuss dietary needs with patients
• Cooking meals for lunch and tea time for 40–90 covers
• Running a full lunch service with a kitchen team
• Washing up and supporting the wider team as needed
