Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a Superstore Supervisor for the Homeware department in Hartlepool. This part-time role (30 hours per week) reports to the Superstore Manager and focuses on driving sales, stock management, and donor generosity within a vibrant retail environment.

You will lead by example, supervise volunteers, and support fundraising activities while maintaining high shop standards and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the commercial running of the homeware department.
• This includes display and merchandising, stock management and generation, maintaining shop standards, store layout, sales and income.
• Leading by example and providing excellent customer and supporter service.
• Supporting the organisation and delivery of creative fundraising events for your store.
• Deputising for the superstore management team by assuming additional responsibilities including supervision of colleagues and volunteers, assisting with team training and undertaking keyholder responsibilities when required.
• There will be a varied amount of manual handling and physical activity required within the day-to-day duties of the role.
