Job summary

Pharmaxo Healthcare, the out-of-hospital arm of the Pharmaxo Group, is seeking a part-time clinical homecare nurse. You will visit patients in clinics, residential care, schools, workplaces and homes to administer medications and monitor safety.

Applicants should hold a nursing qualification with current NMC PIN, substantial post‑registration experience, and a valid UK driving licence. CPD commitment and ability to work autonomously are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification required and registered (NMC PIN).
• Substantial post-registration clinical experience.
• Experience administering SC, IM or IV medications.
• SACT experience preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient observations and confirm treatment readiness.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the medical team.
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families.
• Educate patients and families to promote understanding and independence.
• Keep accurate clinical records and protect patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain patient safety.
