Job summary

Pharmaxo Pharmacy Services in Slough is seeking a clinical homecare nurse to join the healthcare team. The nurse will provide direct patient care, administer medicines, monitor observations, and educate patients and families to manage treatment independently across clinics, residential settings, schools, workplaces and patients' homes.

The role requires current NMC PIN, substantial post-registration experience, and a valid UK driving licence for visiting multiple settings in the community.

This is a clinical homecare nursing post with Pharmaxo Pharmacy Services in Slough, joining its healthcare team. The nurse gives direct care and medicines to patients, checks their observations and fitness for treatment, and teaches patients and families to manage treatment independently. Work takes place across clinics, residential settings, schools, workplaces and patients' own homes, for elderly, disabled or vulnerable people who struggle to reach hospital. Candidates need current NMC registration, experience giving subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous medicines, SACT experience and a valid UK driving licence.
