Job summary

The National Trust is hiring a Holidays Operation Assistant (Holiday Cottage Cleaner) to prepare our Stackpole cottages in Pembrokeshire. You’ll ensure the properties are pristine, well-presented and welcoming for guests, with shifts from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 and 16:00, 5 hours per week.

This permanent, part-time role includes full PPE, training, and the chance to support Welsh language and culture as part of working with National Trust properties in Wales.

• Willing to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• On changeover days, ensure cottage is pristine and welcoming.
• Keep eye out for repairs or odd jobs and report them.
• Replace any broken items from store supplies when needed.
• Carry out compliance checks to ensure guest and colleague safety.
• Full PPE provided; extra measures in place for safety.
