Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a Holidays Operation Assistant to clean and prepare our popular holiday cottages, starting at Horsey Windpump with potential work across other Norfolk sites. Core days are Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and the role operates on a zero-hour contract with flexible scheduling.

You will need reliable transport as cottages are in rural settings. Training includes an online assessment in place of a CV, and PPE is provided.

Responsibilities

• On changeover days, ensure cottage is pristine and ready for guests.
• Clean and present cottages to a welcoming standard.
• Report any repairs or odd jobs needing attention.
• Work mainly alone but as part of a team on larger cottages.
• PPE provided for all staff; flexible pattern with notice where possible.
