Job summary

The National Trust is seeking a Holidays Operation Assistant to clean and prepare our Killerton Estate holiday cottages near Exeter. You will ensure the property is pristine, welcoming and well-presented for guests, with shifts of around five hours once a week, on various days Monday to Saturday.

You will receive PPE, a flexible schedule, and full training. The role focuses on great guest service, independence, organisation, and a willingness to learn new skills; the team supports high standards

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service on a busy holiday lets environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Demonstrates organisation and adaptability to changeovers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cottages are thoroughly cleaned and welcoming for guests.
• Identify and report repairs or maintenance needs.
• Replace or arrange replacement of damaged items from store supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and wear provided PPE.
