Job summary

Academics Ltd in Epping is seeking a confident HLTA to join a high-achieving primary school for two days a week. The contract runs until July 2027 with a possibility of becoming permanent.

You will lead lessons, support pupils, and collaborate with teachers to deliver engaging learning across the primary age range. The role offers variety, flexibility, and a real opportunity to impact pupil progress, with on-site parking and convenient access to nearby train stations.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading whole-class learning.
• Strong classroom management and pupil engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead lessons and deliver planned learning activities across the primary age range.
• Provide targeted support to pupils who need extra guidance.
• Help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere where children participate.
• Work closely with teachers to support progress and identify areas for extra help.
