Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd. is seeking a part-time High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a local primary school in Scunthorpe. The HLTA will support across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, delivering Read Write Inc phonics where appropriate and providing 1:1 and small-group support.

The role begins November 2026 and runs for the academic year, part-time to 2027. The ideal candidate will have HLTA status or Level 3 TA+, experience with Read Write Inc, and a proactive, adaptable approach to supporting children

Qualifications

• HLTA experience in school settings.
• Experience delivering Read, Write, Inc Phonics.
• Flexibility, reliability and adaptability.
• Recent experience supporting 5–11 year olds.

Responsibilities

• Support across the classroom, small groups and 1:1 with pupils.
• Assist delivery of learning activities across EYFS to KS2.
• Be flexible and adapt to school needs and timetables.
