Job summary

Priory School Lewes is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs and deliver instruction to individuals and groups. The role involves covering whole classes in the main school and providing targeted behavioural support within the Behavioural Alternative Provision.

This is a part-time, term-time position with 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am–3:15 pm, during 39 weeks plus 6.05 weeks annual leave.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
• Ability to cover whole classes and provide support to individuals and groups.
• Interest in education and potential to become a teacher in the future.

Responsibilities
