Job summary

Willows Academy in Grimsby is seeking a HLTA to join us on a part-time, temporary basis as soon as possible. You will complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum and support staff, pupils and academy policies.

You will supervise classes during short-term absence, assist with planning, resources, pupil welfare and inclusion, and contribute to raising standards through your knowledge and skills. The academy values development and supportive staff.

Qualifications

• HLTA experience or equivalent with ability to support planning and assessment.
• Ability to supervise classes during short-term absence.
• Commitment to pupil welfare and inclusion.
• Strong collaboration with teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Complement teachers' delivery of the curriculum and support staff, pupils and academy policies.
• Assist in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.
• Supervise whole classes during short-term absence of teachers.
• Provide support to pupils, teachers and the academy to raise standards.
• Encourage pupils to become independent learners and support inclusion.
