Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting part-time HGV Class 2 Drivers for Northampton. This role involves UK-based multidrops, store deliveries, and pre-loaded vehicles. You will ensure loads are safe, complete delivery paperwork, and perform vehicle checks. Shifts areMon–Fri, with AM/PM options and a minimum 8-hour shift.

Ongoing work through 2026 withWeekly PAYE pay, new Perks at Work Scheme, and pension options. Driving record: maximum 6 points; CPC training available.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• Commitment to shifts/rotas.
• Ability to work safely alone or with a team.
• Time management and punctuality.
• A good understanding of UK drivers' hours.

Location (Northampton)

£18.13 per hour | £27.20 OT after 40 hours

The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Part time HGV Class 2 Drivers with our global logistics and supply chain company that operates both freight management and contract logistics. This is an ongoing opportunity with excellent earning potential and long-term prospects.

About the Role

• UK based multidrops
• Store deliveries
• Pre loaded vehicles
• Ensuring your load is safe and secure
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• Maximum 6 points accepted ( No DD/ DR offences)
• Vehicle checks

Working Hours

• AM and PM shifts available
• Minimum 8-hour shifts
• Shifts between Mon - Fri

Pay

• £18.13 per hour
• £27.20 per hour overtime (after 40 hours)
