Job summary

Page Hall Medical Centre is seeking a qualified health care assistant to join our general practice team. You will work alongside a team of 3 nurses and another experienced health care assistant, and be part of the MDT to provide high quality care to patients.

You will undertake phlebotomy, health checks, basic wound care, stock control and use the practice system to record interactions, contributing to Audits and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Teamworking in a clinical setting.
• Experience in a GP or primary care environment.
• Ability to support patients with diverse needs.

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy and health checks.
• Basic wound care and vaccinations support.
• Stock control and routine practice duties.
• Use the clinical system to record patient interactions.
• Participate in audits and MDT teamwork.
• Assist in safeguarding and identifying vulnerable patients.
