Job summary

Brackley Medical Centre in England is seeking a Health Care Assistant or Registered Nursing Associate to join our friendly team for 23 hours per week. The role supports the GP and nursing team with wound care, immunisations, ECGs and routine clinical tasks in a busy GP practice.

We value initiative, accuracy with documentation and a readiness to work across family planning, wound care and the vaccination pathway within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy qualification required.
• Experience in wound care and GP primary care preferred.
• NVQ Level 2 in Clinical Healthcare or Health and Social Care.
• Registered Nurse Associate considered.

Responsibilities

• Simple and complex wound care.
• ECG recording and blood pressure checks.
• Immunisations including flu clinics and vaccines.
• Processing laboratory samples for GPs/Nurses.
• Vaccine cold chain storage and stock rotation.
• Support GP in Family Planning clinics.
• Clear and restock consulting rooms.
• Stock management of surgical equipment.
