Botesdale Health Centre is recruiting a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) on a part-time basis to join our friendly team. The role involves working with the nursing and wider practice team to provide high-quality care to registered patients.

The position includes phlebotomy, health checks, ECGs and support for health promotion activities. We value compassionate, confidential care and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Care Certificate completion (or equivalent) required.
• GP practice experience preferred.
• Venepuncture/phlebotomy skills essential.
• Excellent patient-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidential and compassionate approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Undertake phlebotomy for venous and INR testing.
• Blood pressure, height, weight and BMI checks.
• Wound dressings, sutures and clip removals.
• Urine testing and sample submission to the laboratory.
• Perform ECGs and assist with health checks.
• Support health promotion activities and vaccination programmes.
• Accurately document all clinical information in patient records.
