Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services) is seeking a professional GP to join the Reserves Medical team at Baden Powell House, Catterick Garrison. The post focuses on occupational healthcare for Reserve Forces, ensuring fitness and readiness while applying GMC standards in an occupational setting.

The role is part-time, offering 27 hours per week with flexible working requests considered, and the salary is pro-rata.

Qualifications

• Registration with the GMC, and on the General Practice (GP) Register.
• Holding a current licence to practise.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe and appropriate Occupational Healthcare to Reserve Forces and entitled personnel in line with DPHC policies and GMC standards.
• Deliver medical care compatible with GMC policy, including Duties of a Doctor.
• Ensure compliance with Medical Administrative Instructions and military medical policy letters.
• Provide military medical advice to the Chain of Command and liaise with Commanding Officers as required.
• May provide Primary, Preventative and Remedial Healthcare to support operational requirements.
