Job summary

Nottingham City General Practice Alliance (NCGPA) is seeking a part-time GP Non-Executive Director to provide independent governance and clinical leadership to the Board. The post-holder will chair the Clinical Governance and Quality Board Committee, support strategy, and oversee education and research activity in collaboration with the Medical Director.

Qualifications

• GP NED must be a GP employed at a shareholding NCGPA member practice.
• Must be a GMC-registered medical practitioner.
• Experience in governance, quality, risk management and NHS regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Chair the Clinical Governance and Quality Board Committee.
• Provide independent clinical leadership and board-level assurance.
• Support the board in holding the executive to account for quality, safety and outcomes.
• Ensure governance compliance with statutory, regulatory and professional requirements.
• Engage with stakeholders and represent NCGPA in key partnerships.
