Job summary

The St. Regis London is seeking a reliable Goods Receiver to join our Mayfair team. You will handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensure accuracy against orders, and maintain inventory records, supporting hotel operations with meticulous organisation.

The role requires attention to detail, careful handling of goods, and the ability to work a part-time schedule (20 hours per week, Tue–Sat 7am–11am) in a luxury hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, stores, or logistics, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with deliveries and docs.
• Able to work in fast-paced, operational environment.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes.
• Strong communication across departments.
• Proactive approach to safeguarding goods and assets.
• Capable of identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Impeccable personal presentation aligned with standards.
• Available for 20h/week Tue-Sat 7:00–11:00.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload and process deliveries, ensuring accuracy against PO and invoices.
• Inspect goods for quality and condition, report discrepancies or damages.
• Record and track all incoming/outgoing deliveries in inventory systems.
• Organise and distribute goods to departments promptly.
• Maintain logs, reports and documentation for receiving activities.
• Reconcile receiving reports with invoices for accurate stock counts.
• Store goods securely and maintain storage areas.
• Manage mail and guest deliveries.
• Communicate with guests regarding package receipt.
