Job summary

Park Plaza Victoria London is seeking a Goods Receiver for a 30-hour week (6:30am-1pm). You will ensure deliveries meet quality and quantity standards, inspect products, and securely record details before storage.

You will play a key role in maintaining efficient reception of goods for our 299 guestrooms, 17 meeting spaces, and Tozi Restaurant. We offer competitive benefits including discounted hotel rates, substantial staff meals, holiday entitlement, pension, and access to employee wellness

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting deliveries against purchase specifications and PO
• Ability to judge quality, quantity and sanitary conditions of products
• Attention to detail when recording delivery data and prices
• Ability to maintain professional relationships with suppliers

Responsibilities

• Check delivered products against purchase specifications and PO.
• Judge quality, quantity and sanitary conditions of products.
• Verify deliveries with daily delivery report.
• Inspect supplier invoices for accuracy in descriptions, quantities and prices.
• Record net weight of products against invoices.
• Log delivery dates and purchase prices on packaging.
• Weigh meat items separately and log details.
• Monitor delivery vehicles for cleanliness and temperature and log details.
• Track movement of products to storage ensuring perishable items are prioritized.
• Issue goods only after written requisition signed by authorised staff.
• Maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
