Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting a part-time Supervisor (20 hours per week) to help run Defence operations. The role includes supervising a frontline team, managing rotas, stock ordering and ensuring food safety and health standards are met.

A positive, proactive approach and good communication are essential. We are looking for someone with previous supervisory experience in a similar environment and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Good communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
