Job summary

Rotheram Carrington Recruitment Group seeks an experienced Part-Time Financial Controller for a Cheshire-based business. The role is 3 days per week, hands-on No.1 in Finance, reporting directly to the CEO. You will own the finance function and shape processes to support growth.

Ideal candidates are ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong Xero/Excel skills, commercially minded, and able to work autonomously in a changing environment.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified finance professional.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day finance function.
• Produce monthly management accounts (accruals, prepayments, depreciation).
• Manage cashflow and working capital with clear visibility.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Develop and maintain finance processes, controls and reporting.
• Provide commercial financial insight to support decisions.
