Job summary

Flora and Co Associates in Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Part-Time Financial Controller to own the full accounting cycle across multiple entities. The role offers hybrid working and pro rata hours, with a clear path to senior finance exposure.

You will lead monthly management accounts, consolidate group reporting, statutory accounts, budgeting and cash flow planning, while providing commercial insight to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3–5 years post-qualification experience.
• Strong hands-on experience preparing statutory accounts end-to-end.
• Proven management accounting experience.
• Experience producing consolidated accounts across multiple entities.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and cash flow experience.
• Commercially aware with ability to work alongside senior stakeholders.
• Independent, proactive and organised in a multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

Part-Time Financial Controller

Wolverhampton | £65,000 – £70,000 FTE (pro rata) | Part-Time | Hybrid Working

We're recruiting for an experienced Part-Time Financial Controller to join an established, growing business based in Wolverhampton.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong, qualified accountant who enjoys taking ownership of the full accounting cycle and is looking for a varied, hands‑on role on a part-time basis.

Working closely with the CFO, you'll take responsibility for financial reporting across multiple entities, from monthly management accounts and consolidations through to preparing statutory accounts from start to finish.

The business is looking for someone who can work autonomously, take ownership of the detail and provide meaningful commercial insight to support senior management.

The Role

• Take ownership of the full accounting cycle across multiple entities.

About You

• Strong budgeting, forecasting and cash flow experience.
• Commercially aware, with the confidence to work alongside senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a broad finance remit.
• A proactive, organised and hands‑on approach.

Experience working within a multi-entity business would be advantageous.
