Thompson & Terry Recruitment are delighted to be working with a successful and well-established business just south of Oxford, seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day finance function. You will work closely with the Managing Director, oversee ledgers, payroll, CIS, project costing and reporting, and liaise with engineers, suppliers and directors to support the business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing the finance function in an SME.
• Strong knowledge of purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, and CIS.
• Experience with HMRC reporting and pensions administration.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, project costing, payroll administration, credit control, banking and cash management.
• Liaise with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, accountants and directors.
• Ensure financial records are accurate and deadlines met.
