Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day finance function and ensure accurate reporting.
• Maintain financial records and systems and support Sage 200 development.
• Produce monthly management accounts and reports.
• Manage profit and loss reporting and trial balance reconciliations.
• Credit control and cash management responsibilities.
• Bank reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Liaise with suppliers about invoices and statements.
• Support VAT, tax and audit preparation.
• Assist with wider business administration including insurance.
• Ensure financial controls and procedures are followed.
• Handle ad hoc duties as required.

Finance Manager (Part-Time, 25 Hours per Week)

The Job

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day finance function and ensuring accurate financial reporting across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and maintaining financial records and systems.
• Working with Sage 200 and supporting ongoing system development.
• Producing monthly management accounts and reports.
• Managing profit and loss reporting and trial balance reconciliations.
• Full responsibility for credit control and cash management.
• Bank reconciliations and month-end processes.
• Liaising with suppliers regarding invoices and statements.
• Supporting VAT, tax and audit preparation activities.
• Assisting with wider business administration, including insurance and finance-related matters.
• Ensuring financial controls and procedures are followed throughout the organisation.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
