JAM Recruitment Ltd are seeking a qualified Finance Manager for a values-led nonprofit in Wallingford. This part-time role is 3 days a week (Wed-Fri, 9am-5pm) with one remote day on Thursday.

You will lead the finance function, produce group accounts, manage budgets and cash flow, and oversee credit control, delivering accurate reporting and strong controls for strategic decision-making. Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical accounting, analytical thinking and commercial judgement.
• Experience delivering financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Proven ability to build and develop teams, with a collaborative leadership style.
• Ability to translate finance into practical guidance for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance function across the company, including line and performance management.
• Prepare regular management accounts for group companies and provide clear financial insight.
• Manage budgets and cash flow, including complex inter-company arrangements.
• Oversee credit control, ensuring timely collection of debts and proactive financial risk management.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance systems and processes.
• Support robust month and quarter-end processes to ensure controls and accuracy.
• Collaborate with auditors and external stakeholders, ensuring statutory requirements are met.
• Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to support strategic corporate plan actions.
