Job summary

Brampton Recruitment Ltd seeks a part-time Finance Manager to lead the small finance team and act as a trusted adviser to the CEO and senior management in a growing charity. You will ensure robust controls, monthly reporting, cashflow forecasting and supported decision-making.

The role requires third-sector experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to develop processes while working closely with auditors, funders and managers across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Manager / Financial Controller role.
• Experience in the third sector.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret and communicate financial data to non-finance colleagues.
• Experience supporting senior management with financial decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day finance function.
• Manage monthly financial reporting, cashflow and forecasting.
• Provide clear financial information to CEO and senior management.
• Support financial planning as the organisation expands.
• Maintain robust financial controls and processes.
• Monitor financial performance, cashflow and risk.
• Support investment and financial planning decisions.
• Line-manage the Finance Officer responsible for payroll.
• Collaborate with external auditors, funders and finance software providers.
• Build relationships with senior colleagues and stakeholders.
