Job summary

Brook Street in Bridgend, UK, is looking for a Part-time Finance Manager to own month-end reporting end-to-end. You will work 20 hours weekly (Tue–Fri, 9:00–14:30 with Friday essential) in a standalone finance role within a global sales and distribution environment.

You'll produce monthly management accounts, analyse P&L and balance sheets, and support budgeting, audits, and inventory controls. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Finance Manager/Accounts Manager/Senior Management Accountant role.
• Strong knowledge of management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, journals, VAT returns and fixed assets.
• Ability to manage stock accounting and inventory reconciliations.
• Proven proficiency with Excel and financial data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
• Analyse Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets with insightful commentary.
• Perform balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
• Manage stock accounting, valuations, and reconciliations.
• Post journals and support accruals/prepayments.
