Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Part-Time Finance Manager on behalf of a growing SME based in Central London. This hands-on role owns the finance function, brings key accounting activities in-house and develops efficient processes and controls.

Working with the senior leadership team, you will deliver insightful financial reporting and help steer business decisions. The position offers a three-day, office-based week in Westminster with a genuine opportunity to influence strategy and drive

Qualificações

• Qualified accountant with strong technical abilities and commercial awareness.
• Experience in SME settings and hands-on finance leadership.
• Ability to implement improvements and develop robust financial processes.

Responsabilidades

• Take ownership of day-to-day finance and accounting function.
• Lead transition of accounting activities to in-house operation.
• Manage full accounting cycle: month-end, management accounts, reporting.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and ensure statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with external accountants for year-end and statutory reporting.
• Develop and improve financial processes, controls and reporting systems.
• Provide financial information and analysis to support senior management decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial efficiency and lead ad-hoc projects.
