Arlington Resource Management Ltd. is helping an international educational charity and membership organisation recruit a part-time Finance Director / Financial Controller / Finance & Operations Manager.

The post is 3-4 days per week, hybrid with one day in the London office, reporting to the Board and overseeing all finance matters for revenues of around £2m. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the not-for-profit/charity sector and hold a recognised accounting qualification

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised accounting qualification and be able to operate at board level.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting (two part-time bookkeepers).
• Oversee recording/reporting of membership revenue and charity/donations/events revenue.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and multicurrency budgets.
• Prepare annual accounts, liaise with external auditors and advisers.
• Ensure relevant financial policies and controls are in place and meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee legal and governance issues, Companies House and Charity Commission reporting.
• Monitor overseas subsidiaries and local bookkeepers in the relevant countries.
• Monitor HR policies including contracts of employment and job specs.
• Liaise with stakeholders and international professional network of members.

Part Time Finance Director /Financial Controller / Finance & Operations Manager - this International Educational Charity and Membership Organisation seeks a No 1 in Finance (Finance Director / Finance & Operations Manager / Financial Controller. The organisation has a small team of staff with revenues c£2m.

The role is part time (3-4 days) and hybrid (one day in London office). The Finance Director / Finance & Operations Manager / Financial Controller role reports to the Board and will oversee everything in Finance including:

The new Finance Director / Finance & Operations Manager / Financial Controller will have relevant experience in the not-for-profit / charity sector, together with a relevant accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ACMA).
