Job summary

Adapro Talent Partners are exclusively partnering with a growing PE-backed SME recruiting a Part Time Finance Assistant on an initial 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. The role is based at their HQ in Northamptonshire and will support the Financial Controller with a range of purchase, payment and reporting duties.

You will manage the purchase ledger, handle supplier queries, process VAT/CIS returns, maintain the FAR and assist with month-end and year-end processes.

Qualifications

• Experience handling purchase ledgers and supplier payments.
• Ability to process expenses and VAT returns.
• Confident with CIS, DRC rules and PSA preparation.
• Strong communication and professional discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase ledger from invoices to payments.
• Handle supplier queries professionally.
• Prepare supplier payment runs and expenses.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Register and prepayments.
• Prepare VAT and CIS returns.
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting.
• Support process improvements and new systems.
