Job summary

Trial Balance is recruiting a Part-Time Finance Assistant in Paignton for an ongoing temporary role. The position is 15 hours per week, with flexible days and duties spanning purchase and sales ledgers, reporting, and general administration.

You will raise POs, reconcile supplier statements, send invoices, chase payments, and help with ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a small team, with experience in ledger functions

Qualifications

• Experience in purchase and sales ledgers and credit control.
• Ability to handle finance administration tasks with accuracy.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (e.g., Xero).

Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders and reconcile supplier statements.
• Prepare and send invoices and chase outstanding payments.
• Support day-to-day finance activities and reporting.
• Maintain country of origin records and assist with ad-hoc projects.
• Work collaboratively in a small team to improve processes.
