Job summary

The Dash Group in Redruth is seeking a part-time Finance Assistant to join our busy finance team, focusing on sales ledger and credit control to support cash flow and informed decision-making across the business. You will also provide support to the wider finance team, including purchase ledger cover during holidays or periods of increased workload.

The role offers 20-30 hours per week, flexible over 4-5 days, with 5.6 weeks holiday entitlement including bank holidays and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Full or part AAT qualified or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience within sales ledger and credit control.
• Excellent IT skills, especially Excel, and ability to manage email/phone queries professionally.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist sales ledger processes across the business.
• Administer invoice generation across multiple divisions and sales streams.
• Deal with customer invoice queries promptly and professionally.
• Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate sales ledger records.
• Support and assist credit control process, proactively pursuing outstanding debts and reducing aged debt balances.
• Produce debtor reports and assist with monitoring cash flow.
• Carry out bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Provide purchase ledger support and cover during holidays, absence or periods of increased workload.
• Carry out other finance-related tasks according to the needs of the business.
