Job summary

Trial Balance Consulting has been engaged by a local not-for-profit organisation to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant in Paignton. The role is on a full-time basis, with a contract of around one month and potential for flexible or part-time hours.

It is on-site at the organisation’s HQ on the outskirts of Paignton. You will support a busy accounting team under the Financial Controller, handling accounts payable, petty cash, staff expenses, and month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a finance role preferred; qualifications not required.

Responsibilities

• Administration of accounts payable: creation and recording of invoices, assisting with supplier payment runs and reconciliation of payments
• Entry and reconciliation of petty cash and credit card transactions
• Administer payment of staff expenses
• Assist with month end procedures
