Job summary

London Borough of Hillingdon is recruiting a Family Help Key Worker to deliver intensive family support on a 2-day-per-week basis, embedded within locality teams alongside social workers.

You’ll deliver personalised interventions to empower families, build resilience, and reduce reliance on statutory services, working with schools, health professionals and community partners to coordinate multi‑agency support in a fast-paced, child-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with children and families across early help to statutory intervention, including child protection and reunification plans.
• Lead family help assessments and develop tailored, outcome-focused plans.
• Provide outreach and direct support, helping families achieve sustainable, long-term change.
• Manage a diverse caseload, supporting families facing mental health, housing, or parenting challenges.
• Collaborate with social workers, schools, health pros, and partners to coordinate multi-agency responses.
• Deliver hands-on support in homes and communities, including parenting guidance and helping access services.
