Job summary

Pattern Forme Limited is seeking a reliable, part-time Factory Cleaner to support our offices, manufacturing areas and communal facilities in Taunton. Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices, kitchens, toilets and communal areas.
• Clean factory floors, walkways and manufacturing areas.
• Clean exterior and accessible areas of engineering machinery.
• Empty swarf bins and transfer metal swarf for recycling.
• Empty general waste bins and ensure recycling separation.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop and maintain housekeeping.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow health and safety procedures around machinery.

Pattern Forme Limited is an established British precision engineering company specialising in the design and manufacture of high-quality tooling for the packaging industry.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious individual to join our team as a Part-Time Factory Cleaner.

This is a varied role involving general cleaning duties throughout our offices, manufacturing areas and communal facilities, helping us maintain a clean, safe and well-organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• General cleaning of offices, kitchens, toilets and communal areas.
• Cleaning factory floors, walkways and manufacturing areas.
• Cleaning the exterior and designated accessible areas of engineering machinery and equipment.
• Emptying swarf bins and transferring metal swarf into the appropriate recycling containers.
• Emptying general waste bins and ensuring waste is correctly separated for recycling.
• Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping and general housekeeping.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Helping ensure the premises remain clean, tidy and presentable.
• Following all relevant health and safety procedures, particularly when working around manufacturing machinery.
