Fusion People are recruiting an Industrial Cleaner for an engineering and manufacturing site in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The role is temporary to permanent with a PAYE rate of £12.85 per hour, Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm and Friday 7:30am-12:30pm; part-time option also available £12.71 per hour.

The cleaner will maintain cleanliness across production areas, toilets and the staff canteen, following safety procedures and working efficiently in a busy environment.

Qualifikationen

• Previous industrial/manufacturing cleaning experience would be advantageous.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.

• Clean and maintain manufacturing and engineering areas.
• Sweep, mop and keep floors clean and tidy.

Factory Cleaner

Location: Longton, Stoke-on-Trent

Pay Rate: 12.85 per hour PAYE

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30am-12:30pm

Overtime: Additional hours available in the mornings and on Friday afternoons

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Part time also available £12.71 per hour, Mon to Fri 7.30am to 12.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner to join a busy engineering and manufacturing site based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an industrial cleaning role, NOT domestic or office cleaning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the manufacturing and engineering working areas, as well as the site's toilets and staff canteen.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing and engineering working areas.
• Sweeping, mopping and keeping factory floors and production areas clean and tidy.
• Cleaning toilets, washrooms and staff welfare facilities.
• Cleaning and sanitising the staff canteen, including tables, worktops and kitchen areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Replenishing cleaning products and hygiene supplies.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the factory and welfare areas.

Skills & Experience

• Previous industrial or manufacturing cleaning experience would be advantageous.
• Comfortable working within a busy engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good understanding of health and safety.
