Job summary

Professional Polishing Services Ltd is hiring a dedicated Factory Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe manufacturing environment. The role involves using a motorised floor sweeper and basic tidying, including baling paper, with training provided.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Part-time hours are three per day, Monday to Friday, with flexibility; All PPE is provided to support safe operations.

Responsibilities

• Use the motorised floor sweeper and ensure it is emptied and charged.
• Remove waste materials and keep storage areas tidy.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or hazards.
• Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Support other team members to uphold cleanliness across the facility.

We are seeking a dedicated Factory Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe working environment within our manufacturing facility. This role involves the use of a motorised floor sweeper and some general 'tidying up' as well as the baling of paper.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Use the sweeper to assist with cleaning tasks and ensure it is emptied and charged.
• Remove waste materials and organise storage areas to promote a tidy workspace
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of cleaning equipment and supplies
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management promptly
• Support other team members as required to uphold cleanliness standards across the facility

Skills

• Basic knowledge of working in an industrial environment is a plus

Hours of Work
