Job summary

Fusion People Ltd is recruiting for an Industrial Cleaner at a busy engineering and manufacturing site in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness across manufacturing areas, toilets and the staff canteen in a hands-on, factory environment.

The position is temporary to permanent with overtime opportunities. Hours are Mon-Thu 7:30am-5:00pm and Fri 7:30am-12:30pm, with part-time options available.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing cleaning experience would be advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Good understanding of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing and engineering working areas.
• Sweeping, mopping and keeping factory floors and production areas clean and tidy.
• Cleaning toilets, washrooms and staff welfare facilities.
• Cleaning and sanitising the staff canteen, including tables, worktops and kitchen areas.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Replenishing cleaning products and hygiene supplies.
• Using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the factory and welfare areas.

Factory Cleaner

Location: Longton, Stoke-on-Trent

Pay Rate: 12.85 per hour PAYE

Hours: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:00pm, Friday 7:30am-12:30pm

Overtime: Additional hours available in the mornings and on Friday afternoons

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Part time also available £12.71 per hour, Mon to Fri 7.30am to 12.30pm

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner to join a busy engineering and manufacturing site based in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

This is an industrial cleaning role, NOT domestic or office cleaning.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the manufacturing and engineering working areas, as well as the site's toilets and staff canteen.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and maintaining manufacturing and engineering working areas.
