Job summary

ABM UK is seeking a reliable cleaner/maintenance assistant to deliver high-standard cleaning services at Inverness retail park and surrounding facilities. You will perform litter picking, sweeping, waste management, glass cleaning, and basic landscape duties as part of daily operations.

The role is 24 hours per week across 3 or 4 days (Wednesday to Saturday), paying £13.45 per hour. Applicants should be capable of working alone or as part of a team and adhering to RAMS and health & safety

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning in retail or similar environments.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail in cleaning/maintenance.
• Flexible to meet role demands.

Responsibilities

• Clean general areas and landscape duties around external environment, car parks.
• Be a helpful point of contact for customers needing assistance.
• Report health and safety issues to management.
• Ensure site checks and compliance are followed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming site for clients and customers.
• Act as ABM brand ambassador.
• Plant and maintain greenery including mowing and pruning.
• Load and unload equipment; drive work vehicles on site.
• Follow RAMS and H&S guidelines.
