Job summary

ABM is recruiting for a part-time cleaning/maintenance role at Inverness, based at INSHES RETAIL PARK. The position offers a 24-hour week with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour, working 3 or 4 days out of 7 (Wed/Thu-Sat).

You will deliver cleaning services to client facilities, maintain pathways, manage waste, and support garden and external area maintenance. The role requires cleaning/maintenance experience in retail or similar settings, good communication, initiative, and the ability to work both

Qualifications

• Retail cleaning/maintenance experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to use own initiative to prioritise tasks.
• Able to work alone or in a team.
• Approachable and courteous manner.
• Excellent attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance.
• Flexible to meet the needs of the role and business

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and landscape duties in external areas, roads and car parks.
• Assist customers and be a helpful point of contact.
• Report health and safety issues to management.
• Ensure RAMS and site-specific compliance are followed.
• Keep the site clean, safe and welcoming.
• Act as an ABM brand ambassador.
• Carry out gardening tasks: plant flowers, trees, hedges and lawns.
• Maintain gardens including mowing, trimming and weeding.
• Water plants and apply fertilizer as needed.
• Remove snow, ice and leaves as required.
• Load/unload equipment; drive work vehicles around sites.
