Job summary

ABM is recruiting for a Cleaning/Maintenance operative to deliver high-standard services at INSHES RETAIL PARK, Inverness. You will perform outdoor cleaning, litter picking, garden maintenance and general site upkeep, acting as a friendly ABM brand ambassador.

Successful candidates will have retail or maintenance experience, good communication, and the ability to work alone or in a team. The role offers a part-time pattern (3–4 days per week) with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour and accessible

Qualifications

• Cleaner/Maintenance service experience in retail or similar environments.
• Good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Ability to use own initiative to identify and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
• Approachable and courteous manner with attention to detail.
• Flexible to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and landscape duties in external environments, car parks, and around the retail park.
• Be a helpful point of contact for customers needing assistance.
• Monitor health and safety issues and report to management.
• Ensure cleaning/maintenance checks and site compliances are followed.
• Keep the site clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and customers.
• Act as an ABM brand ambassador on site.
• Plant new flowers and maintain gardens and lawns.
• Load/unload equipment, drive work vehicles, and adhere to RAMS/H&S guidelines.
