Job summary

Chartwells Independent is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join the defence-focused cleaning and facilities teams, contracted to 24 hours per week.

Shift patterns include 5 out of 7 days, with a commitment to maintain high standards of cleanliness across client environments.

You will dust, sweep, mop, sanitize surfaces, restock supplies, and support a safe, hygienic workplace across Defence sites in the Compass Group UK&I family.

Qualifications

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Enjoys a hands-on cleaning role.
• Experience in a similar cleaning role is beneficial but not essential.
• Flexible approach to working across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer.
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently.
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste.
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
